I Found Food and Blankets

I had a long ride yesterday.  I met my foster mom and her and Foster Dad took me to Parkway Veterinary Hospital to meet Dr. Worshum.  She was a very nice doctor and was so proud at how much energy I had.  She also noticed how I will sit to try and make you happy and get a snack.  I ran up to everyone and got lots of love at Dr. Worshum’s office.  I also got a lot of snacks that I later used to decorate my foster parent’s car. They didn’t mind too much and were glad to hear how healthy I was, besides being a little skinny.  I only cried for a very little while when I was getting comfortable in my house-box.  I spent the night on a very fluffy blanket and Foster Mom even gave me a soft red pillow!

I Took a Ride Today!

I got picked up from a shelter today.  I’m not sure exactly what kind of shelter I was in but I do know that my doggy neighbors weren’t around for very long.  He took me for a long car ride and I was so very excited to be outside.  I started the ride in the back seat but ended up jumping in front for a view of the road.

My Forever Family Found Me Today

Today I met the most wonderful people.  They hung out with me and rubbed my belly which I love.  We were a perfect fit and today they took me to their home to be a part of their family!!!  There are a lot of wonderful humans in this family so I will always have someone I love to play with. I am so happy.

A Day in the Sun

I have put on some weight so I look like a normal dog.  Foster Mom took some pictures of me playing in the sun.  My favorite toy is the squiggly one that I can never seem to keep in my mouth.  I have so much more energy now that I am healthy!

The Other Dog and I

Other Dog was relaxing on the floor with me.  He really likes to clean my ears.  We were totally chill (I am a chill sort of guy) until one of the little fuzzies (Foster Mom calls them "Cat") jumped on my house box and made a ton of noise.

Grumbly in My Sleep

The babygate was moved last night so I was able to hang out in a new room.  This one has carpet!  I have a cute snore but it isn't too loud so Other Dog could sleep too.  I get tired after running around so I like to nap once I know I can still hang out with some company.

Life is Exciting

I am starting to think my new name is “Niles” so I turn around and listen when I hear it.  If you didn't know...I'm smart and am learning things fast.  I have gotten a bath and haven’t had any accidents since.  I want to keep my coat clean.  A wonderful lady named Deb has been coming to visit me and she takes me out to visit the grass.  I love her!!!  I have been so excited that I have started to jump around and run in the grass.  Wouldn’t you know that no one yelled at me!!  My temporary mom has gotten excited because my ribs are starting to fade.  Who knew the world could be safe AND fun!!
